Here we go again!

My first picture of baby #2! Okay, well, at least the first proof he/she exists. I'm still somewhat in shock- I did not expect to be seeing this quite so soon. Yes, I know I ran out to buy the tests after just feeling a little off for a couple of weeks, but I still did not expect my bfp. I am started to get excited, even though it does not seem quite real yet. I'm thinking of all the fun things I've gone through with Ben, and knowing I get to experience them all again just makes me ecstatic! We found out today- the day before mother's day- what a perfect gift! (and with Ben we found out the day before father's day. Seems appropriate!)I wasn't sure if I would ever be ready for another one so soon- or ever for that matter, so I'm glad I didn't have to much time to mull over it. I'm so happy we are going to be giving Ben a forever friend. My due date looks like it will be January 11th- so 2 under 2 , here we come! It's a secret for now (well, mostly!) I don't have my first appointment for 5 more loooong weeks. Maybe then it will really sink in. I am so excited as well because one of my best friends is due about 6 weeks before me! And another friend is due in a month. My new little one will have two friends nearby already! (and Ben just adores both their mommies so much- he'll manage too!)

So I am going to really try out this blogging thing with #2. I have a few friends who blog, and it made me wish I'd known about it sooner (though mine I'm sure will not be quite as comedic as some- Meghan!). Actually, I'm not even sure who will read this! lol. But I'm going to try to have fun with it anyway.
