Just thinking

As I'm cleaning some pictures off my computer (since it's getting very angry at me and I'm trying to avoid the "blue screen of death") I came across some pictures this summer from my grandparents house. It just got me thinking about how much fun the kids have there- and how much fun my sister and I had there as kids and growing up. We were lucky that the circumstances in our lives allowed us to spend so much time with our grandparents and have them be such a big part of our lives. Ben has figured out that he can always get great-gramp to slip him 'just one more' piece of cake from the cake dish when no one else is looking ;) He loves his garden- maybe he will be the green thumb in this house one day! And he always has such a fun time swimming- a fish just like great-gramp. And Luke is following in Ben's footsteps, getting to experience the same fun things and I can't wait until next summer when he is old enough to enjoy it so much more. He has time to make up for since he didn't get to see them for the first 6 months of his life. And yet another reminder to me how important pictures are as they bring back all these memories of things that have slipped your mind in the business of life- so take pictures of your kids- all the time!!! Even if you are "that mom" at the store with her camera phone out :)
